Commemoration of martyred teachers

'We will not allow cultural imperialism'
Erdoğan stated that the education system should be based not only on technical developments but also on a value-based approach. Erdoğan said, “It is our primary responsibility not to allow the cultural imperialism that has wanted to tear this nation apart from its roots for the last two centuries,” and drew attention to the importance of teachers in this process.

'Education is not the import of ideas, but the production of one's own work'
Stating that the main purpose of education is not to receive the knowledge produced by others, but to produce original knowledge, Erdoğan said, “Education is not the import of ideas, but finding one’s own voice, producing one’s own work, and creating one’s own acquis.”

'Teknofest generation is coming with a bang'
Giving hopeful messages to the young generation, Erdoğan stated that the new generation is open to self-development and that these young people will build the future of Türkiye.
