MHP Beykoz Central Neighborhood Organization reacts to Beykoz Municipality staffing

Strong criticism from MHP Central Organization to Beykoz Municipality
The Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) Beykoz District Presidency Central Neighborhood Organization made a written statement regarding the alleged staffing practices in the Beykoz Municipality under the CHP administration. The organization stated that the allegations that Police Chief Murat Avşar included his close circle in the municipality after taking office were worrying.
 
'The municipality is the property of the people, not anyone else'
The statement called on the administration with the words, 'Seats in municipalities are not inherited by anyone, they are the people's right.' It was emphasized that personnel recruitments made without merit, transparency and public announcement processes revived an understanding that the CHP had also opposed in the past.
 
Reaction to the 'spouse-friend-relative' system
The organization argued that the appointment of the cousin as the manager of the Riva Elmasburnu Social Facilities, and the appointment of VY, who was brought from Üsküdar, and ST and other people whom he knew from the military, had wounded the public conscience. It was also emphasized that the procedures and principles by which these appointments were made should be made public.
 
'It contradicts the CHP's rhetoric'
The MHP Beykoz Central Neighborhood Organization stated that it is thought-provoking that the allegations of favoritism and nepotism, which the CHP has constantly criticized in the past, are now being encountered in their own municipality. The statement said, "The CHP administration should immediately inform the public about these practices that contradict their own statements."
